We are proud of our Egyptian scribes, who have been writing in hieroglyphs. Our historians have learnt that the ancient Egyptians invented one of the earliest writing systems. Our 3RW scribes have then used symbols, called hieroglyphs (meaning sacred carvings) to communicate a message! Did you know that the children even made their own papyrus paper too? Well done Class 3RW. You have been great historians this week and have also shown resilience and problem solving skills! Making papyrus and being Egyptian scribes was challenging, but you did not give up!
