Harvest Assembly / Sing-a-long
Many thanks to our whole community for their generosity today. We’ve filled almost 20 carrier bags with food for the Rainbow Centre. Food which will enable The Rainbow Centre to feed families and the homeless. Thanks to Mike Lynskey of the Rainbow Centre for coming along. We do hope our KS1 parents (Y1 and 2) enjoyed the sing-a-long with the children. You were very good at the actions by the end!
Year 6
A huge well done to all children at Peat Rigg who have enjoyed a week of outdoor and adventurous activities. And a huge well done to all Y6 children in school. They have curated board games, created bread, visited local place, took part in forest schools activities, had fun with art and many other things.
Great Work!
Just some of the amazing learning that I have enjoyed seeing this week. Some from class and some from home.
Parent / Teacher Meetings
Many thanks to those that have visited school and met with their child’s class teacher over the past few weeks. These events have been well attended. If you’d like to provide any feedback on our parent/teacher meeting format, please email admin@northstead.n-yorks.sch.uk with the subject title being SH – Parent Feedback.
Visits to Northstead Methodist Church
It was heartening to hear about our amazing visits to our local church this week. Children were respectful, listened extremely well and learnt a lot from Emma Morgan. I hope the link with our local church will continue for a long time to come.
