Netball 26/09/23
Today, Northstead Netball Team played in a tournament. In the team were Beth C, Charis M, Thea S, Brodie M, Freyja P and Annalise B. We played three matches. The first match was against St Peters. It was a really fun match and we won 1-0. Beth scored and it was so much fun. The second match was against St Martins and the score was 2-0. Unfortunately, we lost; it was a really hard match. The third match was against Newby and Scalby School. We lost but they were really tall! The score was 3-2. One time the guys nearly got the ball but Brodie reached out and punched the ball away, It went to Freyja and she caught it behind her head! It was really fun, we kept switching out, so everyone got to play all the positions. Charis scored and so did Beth. It was Charis and Thea’s first EVER match and they had a great time.
A big thanks to Mrs Barker for taking the children to the matches.
